Hypnotherapy
How does it work? The hypnotherapist induces what can feel like a deeply relaxing and natural state known as ‘trance’. This is done in order to pass through the conscious minds limiting beliefs and barriers that are preventing change to occur. Using a web of techniques and metaphor, the subconscious mind is then directed toward the reprogramming of the unconscious patterning and limiting belief systems. Finally, the Hypnotherapist puts to work the clients own unconscious resources, creating sustainable, lasting, healthy change. It’s important to note that trance is a relaxing state of responsiveness and hyper-suggestibility, but that it is not “sleep” or “unconsciousness”, the client maintains a level of awareness the whole time. Hypno-Kinesiology Hypno-Kinesiology is a fantastic tool for releasing un-useful belief systems, deep-seated emotional issues and traumas, self sabotage and the like. The benefit is that NO trance is required, it is done in a total waking state. It is significantly quicker and gets to the root of a problem with ease. How Does it Work? Using 'muscle testing' (from Kinesiology) we are able to determine what is considered 'truth' to a person on a deep subconscious level. For example, a person might have developed an unconscious belief that they are 'unlovable' or perhaps 'undeserving of love'. They don't know why, but they have noticed they just can't seem to hold down a healthy relationship, or perhaps they are "attracting the wrong sort of people". Their unconscious responses are working hard to validate their belief system - self sabotage. The potential 'symptoms' of a belief system like this are virtually endless. Once the cause of the belief is found and released (via Hypno-K protocol), the 'programming' is then changed, allowing the client the freedom to choose their own path and make healthy decisions. Hypno-Kinesiology offers a safe, fast solution to release the source of trauma and beliefs, allowing the outgrown behaviours, symptoms and stresses to be resolved. Bowen Therapy The Bowen Technique is a cross fibre muscle release technique that balances and stimulates energy flows, resulting in a deep sense of overall relaxation. There are regular pauses between the series of gentle moves to give the body the required time to allow the body to reset and heal itself. The healing is not considered massage, but rather a non invasive muscle release technique consisting of a series of gentle cross fibre moves that have long term benefits so long as the injury or pain is not reaggravated. Vibrational Medicine Vibrational medicine works on the subtle energy fields of the body. The goal of these is to harmonise the energetic fields so that the Chi can move through the meridians and the aura uninhibited. When ones chakras are 'clean' and functioning well, one can expect to experience better moods, healthy flexibility to events, stable emotional states, better sleep patterns, improved energy levels and an overall sense of wellness. Quantum energetic healing, vibrational essences, crystal therapy and sound therapy are some of the modalities available in my clinic. BodyTalk and BodyTalk-Access BodyTalk is an astonishingly simple and effective holistic therapy that allows the body's energy systems to be re-synchronized so they can operate as nature intended. Each system, cell, and atom is in constant communication with each other at all times. Through exposure to the stresses of day-to-day life, however, these lines of communication can become compromised or disconnected, which then leads to a decline in physical, emotional and/or mental well-being. Reconnecting these lines of communication enables the body's internal mechanisms to function at optimal levels, thus repairing and preventing disease while rapidly accelerating the healing process. In this way, BodyTalk stimulates the body's innate ability to balance and heal itself on all levels. NLP - (Neuro Linguistic Programming) NLP can be described as a form of specialised communication. It is used in therapy to educate people in self awareness and to assist people to change their negative mental and emotional patterns. |
